Is there any classic dish that serve one person??
This place is famous for its crab noodle which has been certified by Anthony Bourdain himself. The place isn’t much. Traditionalist, with the owners still a typical auntie uncle you find in old Singapore. But the servings was massive. So is the price too.
MoreFood taste good but portion is small (small crab too). No price indicated on their menu.Attitude owner.
MoreWe ordered 2 crabs of crab rice noodle for just 2 of us. One crab was very fresh and the other you could taste it not so fresh at all. I think the crab dies before they cook it.
MoreThe food is good but slow service just terrible.
not worth. went there on a weekend, we were the only customers in the whole place! over hyped.
MoreVery good Otah. But it's over priced with $8 a piece.
Very expensive price there. Be aware when you order the foods. There aren't menu price available.
MoreThey over charged us thinking we were tourists...
Traditional Kaya Toasts, Eggs and Turtle Soup. Morning breakfast gem.
By far the most expensive 'small' cup of teh-c ($1.50) I have ever drank. I was here for the delicious duck rice at lunch.
MoreVery delicious seafood and fried chicken 😌
Great crab bee hoon and fresh seafood... must try!
There are some simple and ready dishes with very good taste. I also ordered curry fish head (S$40) which was nice and fresh. I don’t think it was a pricy place (I saw lots people complaint). The only disadvantage was the beverage here was not good.
MoreDining here is a real experience. The crab bee hoon is really exceptional and a one of a kind dish. The frog's legs with a special sauce coming in brands essence of chicken bottles was also exceptional. The owner is definitely a character but the food is certainly worth the wait.
MoreOrdered the Crab Bee Hoon, absolutely delicious, serving enough for 3 paxs, still taste the same as 5 years ago, waiting time can varies depending on the crowd, we didn't had to wait long, approximately 15 minutes (we were the only diners at that time), it has the wok hey and fried garlic taste, bee hoon is well coated with the gravy. However the downside is the price, we paid $96 for this dish, to be fair the mud crab is quite big, I would only recommend this if you're willing to pay.
MoreThe most expensive seafood in Singapore. BYOB with corkage.
